    CASCO - Robert E. Chapman Jr., 59, passed away from metastatic prostate cancer on March 19, 2016. He was born on Oct. 8, 1956, in Bridgton, to Hazel (Gilman) Chapman and Robert E. Chapman Sr.
    Bob attended Fryeburg Academy and served briefly in the United States Marine Corps stationed at 29 Palms, California. Bob loved working on old tractors and equipment, and was a master at fixing and running heavy equipment and trucks, and loved Ford Mustangs and Nascar. Bob worked at R.N. Willey & Sons as mechanic for 15 years. Bob worked at C.R. Tandberg for the last 10 years as a heavy equipment operator. He married Tammy Morton on Sept. 5, 1987, and they lived in Casco for over 30 years.
    Bob is survived by his wife Tammy; son Robert Chapman and daughter-in-law Krystal and granddaughter Hailie Chapman of Avon Park, Fla.; son Daniel Chapman and daughter-in-law Johanna of Cornish; as well as special nieces Heidi Jewett of Bangor, and Heather and Amy Rogers of Naples. He is also survived by his father, Robert E. Chapman Sr. of Naples; sister-in-law Hope Chapman; sister Jeannie Chute and husband Brad of Casco; and sister Debra Williams and husband Monty of Naples; uncle Steve Gilman of Millinocket; uncle Gene Gilman and wife Lynda of Naples; aunt Mary Flint and husband Wayne of Portage; aunt Rosalie May of Panasoffkee, Fla.; grandmother Della Gilman of Ashland; aunt Marlene McConkey and husband Richard of Naples; and uncle Andy Flagg Jr. and wife Pauline of Bolsters Mills; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his mother Hazel Chapman and brother Jeffrey Chapman.
    Visiting hours will be at Hall Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, from 6-8 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m. Following the funeral there will be a gathering at the American Legion, Route 11, Naples.
