    RAYMOND - Robert C. Bagley, “Bob” or “Bags” to many, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Bob was a kind and gentle soul who continuously spread joy and laughter to everyone around him. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and riding his Harley. He also loved music and was very proud of his boys and their musical accomplishments. Bob had a loving heart and was always ready to help out wherever needed. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and loved traveling and taking trips with his wife to California where their sons live.
    Bob was born in Waterville on July 31, 1954 to parents Ronald I. and Bernice R. Bagley. He attended grade school in Albion, Lawrence High School in Fairfield, and graduated from Cony High School in Augusta in 1972.  He attended Paul Smith College in upstate New York achieving his associate’s degree in forestry. Bob married Cynthia Sabataso in 1977 and they raised their family in Raymond.
     Bob was a longtime employee of General Electric working in Portland, Hookset, NH, and Auburn. He retired in the fall of 2016 after 38 years. He was also a volunteer fire fighter in Raymond for several years and drove the Raymond recycle truck as a second job for 6 years.
     Bob is lovingly survived by his wife Cynthia of 41 years; son Aaron, daughter-in-law Cristin, and son Jody of Escondido, CA; one brother Gregory and his wife Harriet of Cleveland, OH; step-mother Marian Bagley of Bowdoinham, ME; nine nieces and nephews, and many cousins. He is predeceased by both his mother and father.
    Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, December 18 at 11:00AM.
Visiting hours will be held the previous day, Monday, December 17 from 6:00-8:00PM at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Rd., Casco.
